SELF-CARE FOR THE HARPIST

LesleyCrozier

TUTOR : LESLEY CROZIER
The main pillars of this approach are a series of movements known as Specific Conditioning and Patterning Conditioning. Both are designed to address the tissue adaptation within the body arising from inefficient movement, habits/patterns of movement. This tissue adaptation is responsible for the many musculoskeletal aches and pains so prevalent in humans and, if unchecked, can lead to chronic states. Attendees will be invited to consider and perform some of these movements.

MUSIC'S LESSON

TrionaMarshall

TUTOR : TRIONA MARSHALL
There is something magical about music which allows individuals to explore their own creativity freely and then bring those qualities to the concert stage. This is the great gift that playing traditional Irish music offered Triona. In this workshop she will share some of the insights and challenges that presented themselves as she explored this music, the shifts in thinking that naturally occurred and consequently the understanding gained of music and its possibilities. She hopes to create an interactive and stimulating discussion about the many facets of musical experience and hopefully give the participators of this forum a little food for thought which they can then take with them as they follow their own unique musical adventures.
