During the Festival only, tickets for all events may be purchased, subject to availability, from the Festival reception at Merchiston Castle School. Please buy in advance if possible.

Harp Storage: Harps may be stored, at the owner’s risk, in the rooms provided at the Harp Festival. These rooms are locked and the building secured at night only. All instruments and cases must be clearly NAMED and INSURED BY THE OWNERS since the Harp Festival CANNOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY for loss or damage sustained during the Festival. This disclaimer also applies to all personal effects.

Individual Lessons: These will be available from most tutors and on all harps but can ONLY be booked during the Festival. Enquire at Reception (£28 for 1 hour).

Practice Facilities: free practice rooms are available to students, bookable at Reception.

Massage: There will be a fully qualified masseuse available, offering head, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage. These sessions will be bookable at Reception.

Accommodation (not en-suite) is available at the venue in single rooms or dormitories. Contact the Administrator for more details. Booking form is downloadable HERE.

Public Transport: Lothian Transport services nos. 10, 16, 32 and 45.

Car Parking: There is free campus parking but cars must be parked in the designated areas. NB: please do NOT obstruct entrances or exits from any buildings or park next to the Theatre, Harp Exhibition or classrooms.

Attention - Volunteers Needed: if you would like to help with stewarding please notify Helen Forster as soon as possible on 01875 852996, email: helengforster@waitrose.com. In return for stewarding three or more events, a complimentary voucher for either a concert or workshop will be given.
