The leading harpist of Turkey, Sirin distinguishes herself with her open approach to music played on the harp and has been recognized in musical circles for her thorough interpretative skills and multifaceted musical personality. She regularly collaborates with performers and composers of diverse backgrounds, crossing boundaries between musical styles.
Praised by the Washington Post in 1993 as a “major talent of international caliber”, Pancaroglu released her eight recordings and founded the Association for the Art of the Harp in 2007 in Turkey. She continues her classical career in parallel with creating musical projects that deal with traditional Turkish music.
