Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde is a singer, composer, sean-nós song researcher, and a multi-instrumentalist, performing across Europe, North America and Japan. An Irish speaker from the Donegal gaeltacht, he won the prestigious Corn Uí Riada singing competition in 2009. The latest of his five CDs, Sona do Cheird, won NÓS 2016 album of the year. Others include Guaillimh a’ chéile with Scottish musician, Griogar Labhraidh. Doimnic gives masterclasses internationally, has produced two children’s songbooks, and is the director of two Gaelic choirs. He holds a 1st-class Hons BMus, and an MA in Music Performance.
