Eira is a freelance harpist, performing on pedal harp and clarsach. Her career includes orchestral work, recordings, compositions, technique booklets, chamber music and her popular workshops for harpists of all levels. She has been guest artist at harp events in South Africa, Ireland, Denmark, Iceland, Greece and U.S.A. Studying with Kathleen Bride (a pupil of Marcel Grandjany) gave her a passion for teaching, which she shares in her projects. She is Head of Harp at the RNCM, and is an examiner and adjudicator. Eira’s CDs include many works on the ABRSM and Trinity Syllabus.
