Eva Curth

After achieving the grade of excellence in pedal harp
under Prof. Edward Witsenburg at the Mozarteum in
Salzburg, Berlin based German harpist, Eva, worked
in several orchestras. She has also worked as solo
harpist and keyboard player in musicals. At Theater am
Potsdamer Platz Berlin she was chosen to play the world
premiere of Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame. She
has toured worldwide solo and in chamber music and
as a teacher and lecturer. She also takes great interest
in exploring the specialties, repertoire and possibilities
of the lever harp and historic pedal harps. In 2021
she played Rheingold with Concerto Köln on historic
instruments under Kent Nagano. A recording is planned
for this project in 2023. Eva is Vice-Chair of the German
Harp Society (VDH).
