Màiri Macleod’s background is from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland where music is part of everyday life. Educated in Edinburgh, where she attended The City of Edinburgh Music School and now living in the Isle of Lewis, she teaches Clàrsach, Pedal Harp, Piano, Gàidhlig singing, Fiddle & theory. She also delivers the Prodigies Music curriculum for early years students, conducts the Carloway Gaelic Choir and is a freelance composer, arranger & adjudicator. Màiri is passionate about Gàidhlig music and song.
