Music Generation Ireland Collective

The Harp Collective, a partnership initiative of Music Generation Local Music Education Partnerships Laois, Louth and Mayo, is co-funded by Music Generation/Arts Council and the Department of Education. Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme that gives children, and young people access to high-quality, subsidised performance music education. They have performed together most recently at World Harp Congress in Cardiff, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Mullingar, Tionól for Harps and Pipes in Portlaoise and Harping together Gala Harp Day performance in Dublin for Harp Ireland. The collective is led by various ensemble directors: Siobhán Buckley (Laois), Grainne Hambly and William Jackson (Mayo) and Jill Devlin (Waterford) and Deirdre Ni Bhuachalla (Louth).
