Adrien Chevalier Born in Provence, South of France, into a family of violinists, Adrien Chevalier began his musical education at the Avignon Classical Conservatory. He then moved to Paris where he developed his passion for Gypsy jazz and Eastern European music. He created the ensemble Pad Brapad specializing in Balkan folklore and joined the Grüss Circus orchestra, while also studying at the CMDL jazz school with master violinist Didier Lockwood. In 2011 he moved to New York City and continued his work as a film composer and founded the Hot Club of New York with whom he performed at the New York Hot Jazz Festival in 2014. Adrien is currently preparing his first solo album with compositions inspired by Gypsy Jazz, Swing and Eastern European folklore.
Ben Creighton Griffiths is a jazz and classical musician based in South Wales. He won the 2008 Junior Lily Laskine Competition at the age of 11, and has subsequently developed a busy touring schedule including performances at International Festivals and events in Hong Kong, India, America, Brazil, Canada, French Caribbean, and across Europe. Ben has released several jazz CDs and his latest solo recording is La Vie En Rose – a selection of Gypsy jazz and swing classics released in 2021. Ben is a founding member of jazz fusion group ‘Chube’, and co-founder of The Transatlantic Hot Club.
Ashley John Long is a versatile virtuoso double bassist performing as a soloist in such varied idioms as Jazz, improvisation, early and contemporary chamber music. An improviser and innovator he has created new performance techniques and methods of preparing the bass. He has collaborated with many other musicians, including Gareth Jones to produce new music and works in Universities, Colleges and schools.
