We are giving you TWO chances to join in and perform at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival in 2018!

In the spirit of friendship and fun, the “From Scratch” concert is a chance for everyone to join together (whatever your age and level) and play in a HUGE harp ensemble. You’ll be rehearsed and led by 4 fantastic musicians – Rachel Hair, Isobel Mieras, Susan Syverson and Corrina Hewat, all of whom have composed or arranged music especially for this occasion.

If you are of school age you’ll be glad to hear that after the success of last years “Magic of the Harp” children’s and young people’s concert (it was the most popular concert of the festival!) we’ll be giving you another chance to play together, this time in a concert entitled “Power of the Harp” where you can help Jack restore music to the Land of terrible silence.

You will also hear Royal National Mod prize-winner, Abigail Cavanagh perform, as well as Claasagh harp ensemble from the Isle of Man.

You can register for both these concerts (you’ll subsequently receive the sheet music) from the 15th of January.
