Corrina Hewat is Principal Harp Tutor (BA Scottish Music) at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is a harpist, singer, writer, composer and arranger, musical director, recording artist and musical collaborator. Her huge range of musical influences has contributed greatly to her individual take on traditional music. Corrina achieved recognition for her work with Bachué, Shine and Scots supergroup The Unusual Suspects (nominated Live Act of the Year). She is now working on a new grouping and set to record her first album since her daughter was born, with music and song, supported by Creative Scotland’s Artist Bursary Award.
