Composer and performer from Asunción, Paraguay, Sixto’s artistic training began with the most renowned performers of the Paraguayan Harp. Within the legacy of traditional music and in the permanent search for innovation and expansion he developed his own musical identity. He is currently working with regional folklore genres while continuing to approach the more contemporary sounds of Latin American popular music. In his compositions he departs from the popular sound but at the same time explores rhythms and harmonies that integrate traditional languages and his own versions of popular songs.
