Eleanor is a classically trained harpist from Edinburgh, with a deep-rooted background in Gaelic traditional music. Since graduating from the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Germany in 2008, Eleanor has worked extensively as an orchestral harpist with many prestigious European orchestras, including a season with the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig. Eleanor enjoys a diverse career as a performer and teacher working with leading Scottish and UK orchestras as well as guest performances in Norway. Eleanor currently teaches harp and clarsach at Fettes College and SMC at St. Mary’s Music School in Edinburgh.
