Elinor Evans
Born in Scotland of Welsh parents, Elinor is a hybrid of two Celtic cultures. She completed her degree at the RCS, followed by a PGDip in Composition at the RWCMD and a ARIAM (Teaching) from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. In 2015 she became the first Scottish harpist to win the Trophée Camac de Harpe Celtique in Lorient, Brittany and in 2019 she won the Princess Margaret of the Isles Memorial Prize for Senior Clarsach. She has released a CD and EP showing her distinctive style with her own compositions alongside arrangements of traditional pieces.
