Wendy is a leading Scottish harper who has been involved in traditional music for nearly 50 years. Having learnt her harping through the Edinburgh Clarsach Society Branch, Wendy has taught at almost all the Edinburgh International Harp Festivals and is now Convenor of the Dumfries and Galloway Branch.
She has 4 solo recordings, 5 teaching books and has worked on numerous cross genre projects exploring the connections between music and spoken word, science and landscape.
Her CD on all these themes – Folds in the Field – was inspired by Scotland’s South West and features her strings quartet, The Galloway Agreement.
