Brought up in the Highland village of Ullapool and now living in Glasgow, Rachel is one of Scotland’s most well-travelled harpists as she regularly tours worldwide both as a soloist and with duos featuring guitarist Ron Jappy and Manx Gaelic Singer Ruth Keggin. Passionate about passing on the traditional tunes of Scotland she regularly teaches at festivals throughout Europe, the US and beyond and travels monthly to teach harp in the Netherlands and the Isle of Man. Rachel has released seven albums and published five books of harp arrangements. Her lockdown project HARP at HOME YouTube workshops brought together hundreds of harpists throughout the world.
